Hey, I had the same issue, maybe check the cookies if they are blocked on that site, and its either unblock the cookie or enable cookies on this site for you to be able to play. I hope this helps alot
The reason I need to buy weapons again is because I want to make do with the limited resources I have. However, I'd like to experiment with that method as well. Thanks for the feedback.
Concept: Boxing Gloves as a secret weapon upgrade to Fists, which stuns enemies for longer and deals more damage. Maybe crouching puts you in a blocking stance
I don't know if it will be interesting to implement boxing gloves, but I would like to create a mechanism that allows you to create and switch between multiple weapons of the same type.
I loved this game, ive started speedruning this game, im down to 120 seconds, its very fun not too easy but not too hard. but there are really big skips you can do like on level 5 you can get the blue key from the start. same with level 2. mabye just block some things so people have to play the level. GREAT GAME THOUGH, its not impossible but im playing with keyboard and mouse and mabye thats easier
this game is great! It's fun and challenging so far, but I think the amount of enemies in the levels is a bit over-the-top and I think the hitbox for the headshot could be made slightly larger. Also, just a thought, but reducing the amount of damage the enemies do might be a good idea.
I love "Titanfall" and "Wolfenstein" plus old-school FPS so I thought I'd try your game.
The game starts and it's default checkerboard textures and default Unity skybox. It looks like ass and that you didn't try at all, but I'll forgive it. Then I jump up, get some food I don't need. I can punch but there are no enemies in this action game. I do a jump but then you need to do a wall jump. I do the wall jump but fail. Try again, fail. Turns out that it needs to be a sprinted wall jump from farther away. There is no indication in the game you need to sprint or how to do it unless you read the how-to section. So as a tutorial level this fails immediately because it's trying to introduce two mechanics at the same time. After 5 minutes of dealing with your crappy controls, I finally make the jump, and now I need to do it twice in a row. I try and your clunky wall jump doesn't work. I try again, fail. Each time I do I have to run and go back to where I started. None of this is remotely fun so I quit. It's nice you can do this while blindfolded in 1 second because you made the game but as a new player it's a buggy, ugly, boring mess. Also, your menu is broken, and once paused I can't resume unless I refresh the page.
Right now, the opening level sets up an indie "Ghostrunner" or "Mirrors Edge". If that was your goal, polish the fuck out of the wall run mechanic, replace the default UI for it, rewrite your description and call your game an FPS platformer. If you want to copy "Wolfenstein" then you should have the first level be shooting Nazis in the face. If you want to copy "Titanfall", you should add a double jump, make platforming much easier, and start with you getting a pistol and shooting soldiers in the face. Whatever you do, figure out what the game is (platformer or action) and then make the first level as fun and polished as you possibly can.
your game is super cool but it had some glitches like when I try to play again after I die it glitches and I cant start but its some times not always but it happens so plz check that bug plz and bye!
i can't get past the first part when you start a new game. I got to the end of the thingy but don't know what to do it like a black door i tried some things but can't get through. help
The game feel is great! The rendering is also super interesting. Not familiar with Redbrick Engine, is it from scratch for this prototype? I figure it's doing some sort of voxel raytracing.
RedbrickEngine is the original engine. It features 3D raycasting and shadows and reflections performed by GPU processing. It is a very primitive engine compared to other engines.
I totally like the idea. However, if you compare how the player character controls in your game to how it does in Titanfall, you will immediately see that your player character feels kinda clumsy in comparison.
I'm not saying that to be harsh, but in order to help you! I've played both Titanfall games for the love of their movement abilities, but getting the perfectly right is the absolute success condition for them to feel 'right'.
Your player character is not very 'forgiving' in terms of playing your game just little bit off 'as you intended', and that makes it super hard/frustrating to get into the game.
Hope this helps and doesn't come over like I want to bash your game. I really don't mean to. Hope this helps ✌

Can you make it where you are on a certain level on the missions then you choose to go to the practice arena it won't remove all your levels?
There is no level selection function. When you go to the practice area, the progress disappears. I'm trying to improve this.

Bug: Shops don't respawn when you die
If you destroy the shop with a weapon, the shop will not respawn until you reach the next level.
Perhaps Hookshot and Binoculars should be unlockable items that you only buy once?

It depends on the browser and environment, so I can't say it sweepingly, but it is possible to play with a PS4 controller.
Fun game but getting headshots is a little unreliable, I'm having a lot of fun with it though :)
